Many parents have been calling and emailing on equipment needed for their players. Players will need a glove, shoes, helmet, bat and baseball pants. The league will supply the hat and shirt for the team the player is drafted to.
GLOVE - You can buy leather gloves almost anywhere. Do not use the really small plastic gloves.
SHOES - Must be rubber spikes on the shoes.
HELMET - Helmets must have a cage on attached, no side bars. This is a Latrobe Little League rule that must be adhered to. The league does provide each team with extra helmets when needed.
BAT - USA or wooden bats only. There is a picture of the USA marking on a bat that is legal for Little League above.
PANTS - Whatever team your player is drafted to, the manager will tell you what color of pants he would prefer. Teams are usually white or gray.
