LATROBE LITTLE LEAGUE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION EXTENDED UNTIL MAY 11, 2020

Last night, we received an email from Little League International, strongly advising us to extend the temporary suspension of any little league activities until May 11, 2020, which we will do.  The email is under Little League International News below on the right.  Our board had a teleconference call yesterday to discuss the upcoming season. We hope things return to normal soon, and when they do, our goal as a board is to make sure we have a baseball season this year, so our children can have some normalcy return to their lives as well as ours. This is uncharted territory for all of us and we will do our best to keep the league informed of our plans.  Like all of you, we at Latrobe Little League are closely monitoring the rapidly developing situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus). And like you, we are going to adapt to the challenges and safety concerns in real-time, while working to continue fulfilling our mission of serving our athletes.  We are taking the concerns very seriously and the impact it is having on our players. Sports are central to all our lives. They serve as an escape from everyday challenges, a tool for teaching life lessons to people of all ages, and a shared passion that unites people of all backgrounds. Together,  we will get our athletes back on the field as soon as possible, and again be united by the power of sports.
